PGD is an innovative method of screening embryos for certain diseases so that couples with a family history of genetic defects can have a healthy baby. Preimplantation genetic diagnosis allows for the genetic testing of embryos before implantation and pregnancy. Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) Procedure
